"The property is amazing, great plant life and animals life. It is well cared for. The staff at the resort are super helpful and friendly. Roman at the pool snack bar went above and beyond everyday. Russell in the Oriental restaurant was great. The pool bar featured three amazing bartenders - Victor, Jose, and Selma. Our cleaner for the week was Consuela. She did an awesome job and helped out with a problem I had, which she was able to solve. Thank you to all staff which defiantly made the stay great. Food was OK, we found items that we liked at each meal, but it underwhelming. The room was great. The pools were amazingly clean and refreshing. "

"Really enjoyed my stay here. I booked a swim out room, and thankful I did. Was nice waking up every morning and having the ability to jump right into the pool. Room itself was very spacious. Bed was comfortable, and the furniture was simple, but worked. Didn't feel trendy or dated. I dined at the 2 of the restaurants and did the buffet. I've read a lot of complaints about the food, and honestly, nothing I had was bad. On the same note, nothing also really stood out. I used the room service feature, and the wait time was about 45 minutes, so please keep that in mind if you are famished. Staff were professional and courteous. I went in the season of sea weed, so the beach was not accessible (I travel to Mexico often, so this is not a surprise to me. Please research when this happens so you are not caught off guard by it). I have only 2 minor complaints. The first, is I am an early riser. So I had to wait till about 730/0800 to get my swim time in as they were doing the maintenance on the pools (not dinging them for this, as this is very much a resort that has an active night life). The second is the remoteness of this location. My excursions that I booked, I was in the cab/vans a lot due to being the first one being picked up (e.g. I booked a Chichen Itza tour, and left at 0700, and got back at 2330). So if you plan to do any long excursions, look at spending the extra money and do it exclusive). I had a lot of fun and would stay here again."
