"I recently stayed at Xcaret Resort and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The overall cleanliness was far below expectations. The room was dirty upon arrival, which immediately made the stay uncomfortable. The beach, which is usually the highlight of a resort, was also not well maintained. It was noticeably dirty and not inviting at all. On top of that, the beach chairs were old, worn out, and some were even broken, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the area. Overall, the resort seems poorly maintained, and it did not meet basic standards of cleanliness and comfort. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made."

"Stayed 3 nights. Some staff like Adilene and Richard and the rest of the Bar/ Restaurant staff were helpful, but overall this raised serious safety concerns. On our final night, the in-room safe malfunctioned with multiple passports (including children’s) and legal documents inside. We were told no one could assist until morning, leaving us without access before a scheduled flight. The safes appeared non-functional (likely dead batteries), and instead of a controlled process, the front desk hands out physical override/reset keys to guests. We were given the wrong key with no verification or instructions. Engineering initially planned to drill the safe; it was only resolved when another engineer from a different property arrived with the correct key. This raises serious concerns about how securely guest belongings are handled if similar safes are used across rooms and keys are distributed without control. The sliding doors and door knobs in the rooms don’t properly work. Check-in was delayed and the room was not properly cleaned. The outdoor cold plunge pool was not functioning and this was not disclosed (the indoor living room pool did work). This was a stressful, travel-impacting incident and has been documented with Expedia. I expect this to be reviewed for appropriate compensation."

"The hotel was beautiful however the main lobby was very hot. The suite we stayed was clean but as we arrive the toilet was broken I have to ask them to fix it twice the sliding door is also hard to open they had to fix it during my stay. My suite was not cleaned everyday unless I put the sign to clean it and I’m not sure If there was a bed bugs in the bed my son was has three bites and got swollen. The food was great and the stuff will friendly but some stuff in the buffet and the pool bar are not welcoming and hard to approach. The massage spa was the best stuff was very friendly and the massage was very good. Over all I will rate my stay 7/10."

"It was a great stay with ONE Large exception. I reported a suspected key theft while away from the hotel and gave very clear instructions to staff when I called the front desk to lock down the room immediately. They didn't and I arrived to find rental car keys, laptop and my passport stolen. It was no one from the hotel but had they locked it in the system, none of this would have happened. The manager came from home to assist and was great along with the staff on duty later in the night. Other than that incident, I would have given 4 stars at least. And I am partially to blame for leaving the card exposed"

"Cuando me quise registrar en la recepcion Edgar, el de recepcion, fue muy grosero y me dio una respuesta muy cerrada al momento de yo no tener una identificacion. Cuando yo tenia todos los comprovantes de ser la persona en ocupar la reservacion. Yo sabia que se arreglaria todo pero el me dijo que no podia hacer nada!!! Pues es el precio del hotel es para tratar a los habitantes con cortesia y el fue muy grosero y falta de etica profesional. Nunca se me pidio una disculpa ni de parte de el ni del supervisor. "
