"This is probably the 5th all inclusive resort that my wife and I stayed, usually when the price is lower than the average I'm a little skeptical and I always tried to book at the higher end of the average price, but I gave a try at this one (lower end price) and did not regret! You can save some money and stay in this hotel which has a great layout with rooms close to the pool, beach and restaurants inside the hotel, plus quiet rooms so you can sleep just fine! Just a couple of suggestions; close the snack bar late, we were looking for coffee around 11.0 pm and there was no place where to get it, and find a way to keep some of the food warm at the buffet, a couple of times we got cold food, other than that, it was a very good experience. "We had a nice visit here at the Melia in Cozumel. I would give it a 9 out of 10 rating. As others have mentioned, I would recommend upgrading to the Level experience. Better food options and other amenities, plus a bigger room. Place was very clean, room was nice and chilly, and everyone was exceptionally friendly. Overall the food was quite good, but I was disappointed by one thing. Both of the hotels offer entrees where you can upgrade and get something a little more expensive or exotic....

"The location of the hotel is great, in a more quiet part of the fifth street, very close to good restaurants and beach. The staff is generally great, except for the breakfast team. Unfortunately the breakfast is not great at all, very limited, and the breakfast staff is flat-out rude and have no standards for service. Would not recommend to pay extra for daily breakfast, the hotel should focus more on the rooms and guest service instead of trying to upsell breakfast, if this is not a priority."
