"It was really good. The couple running it were really nice and helpful. Room a bit basic but.nice comfy bed and lovely cotton sheets and towels. They have only been there 6 weeks so early days yet. I think they have plans and have taken on a big project. Good luck to them both."

"Really enjoyed our visit on 11th April. Booked the Keld room for one night. 3rd visit to the hotel. Very comfortable room on the first floor looking down to the front garden and moors opposite. Hotel has a rear garden with superb views as well. No lifts on property. Excellent service, superb breakfast. Many rooms have seperate bathroom ( private ). Haven't had an evening meal here. "5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. "

"Lovely coaching inn in beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Welcome very friendly as was service throughout stay. Room not huge but adequate and very comfortable bed with good supply of linen. "I had a really happy night in Grassington Lodge . The room was spacious , with a sofa plus table and chairs. Clear instructions were sent to me about how to access my room. I was left real milk for my drinks and the bed was ultra comfy. Everything looked clean and pristine. The pubs, shops and walks are minutes away too so not having food available isn’t inconvenient. Especially if you like exploring. It’s a perfect place to stay. "
