"It was a lovely little hotel in a cute village, the staff were super friendly and the breakfast was good with lots of choice. The room was nice & the bed was comfy with tea/coffee, iron, hairdryer etc. However the room is definitely in need of a major refresh in decorating. The hot tap barely came out, the shower head holder was so loose it came off the wall, there was some mouldy patches in the shower and one of the towels had what looked like blood stains. Other than those odd issues, the rest of the stay was lovely and we would stay there again!"

"The cottage was an authentic Yorkshire experience. It was quaint, clean and comfortable. In the middle of Hawes with easy access to public parking. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. May not suit people who have difficulty with stairs."

Within minutes of the national park information centre and the village centre, it was the perspective starting point for 3 perfect days out. "We very much enjoyed our first stay at Dale View Cottage. The Cottage was very relaxing and enjoyed sitting outside in the patio area, listening to the calming sound of the beck and the peace that flows through it.Perfect Wardrobe space for clothes storage, beds were comfortable and gave us a goodnights sleep, central heating is great if you are feeling a bit cold and also if needed is a log burner fire and the parking has sufficient space for your car.Its in a perfect location to explore around Hawes and beyond, such as Richmond, Grassington, Kilnsey Crag, Skipton.In Hawes, for breakfast Pennygarth Cafe is brilliant and for dinner or tea, The Hawes Chippy is perfect and The Sweetshop has a brilliant variation when you fancy a treat.We had such a wonderful and relaxing time, in what is fondly known as Gods own Country. We shall be returning next year."
