Every member of the Stone House team were polite, friendly, efficient and helpful. They all went out their way to make you feel welcome and a valued guest. The hotel itself was very well maintained and clean . The standard of food throughout our stay was excellent .

Lovely hotel. Beautiful setting with an amazing view. The reviews we read before we stayed, said the staff were wonderful and friendly. Reviews often say this about hotels and we were just expecting the usual professional staff. However it must be said the staff were superb, stood out and had a major positive impact on our stay making it so enjoyable. The evening dinner very good. The breakfasts excellent. Definitely a place to stay.

Truly excellent experience. We thought the staff and the service was outstanding. Our room in the coach house was a little outdated, but the rest of the service, food, and hospitality more than made up for this. We'll definitely be staying here again in the future!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Stone House Hotel, from checking in to checking out the entire staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were cooked to order which is so much better than having a buffet. The dinners were superb, each night it was difficult to choose. Special mention needs to go to the beef cheek and Yorkshire pudding as a starter. Nice walk into Hawes to visit the Wensleydale Creamery and Dales museum as well as some nice local shops. After walking back up the hill to the hotel then sitting in the garden with a drink and enjoying the views was just so relaxing.

This was my third stay since my first visit in 2014 from Canada. Have never forgotten the beauty of the setting and cozy atmosphere. Particularly enjoyed our ground floor room with the conservatory which gives you direct access to the outdoors. The walk across the field to Hawes is always fun. Great staff, food delicious.

Stone hotel is a lovely property set in the soothing Yorkshire Dales Countryside. The hotel was comfortable, food delicious and staff were friendly and provided first class service. My husband and I had a memorable break there. We will return.

From check in to check out the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. In fact, from when you pull into the car park you get the feeling it’s a special place. The building is a beautifully well maintained old building with some rather stunning modern extras. The room we had was spacious and beautifully presented, with a very comfy bed! Spacious bathroom with walk in shower. The bar area, lounge areas, breakfast and dinner room were clean, tidy, and again had that old style feel but with modern features. But the garden was amazingly well kept and that view!! All worth it just for that!! The food was stunning too both breakfast and dinner were perfectly cooked and presented. But by far the shining star of this hotel is the staff and service you receive, faultless.
