"Lovely spacious stay at this pub for my family, loved the little touches.. fresh milk in the room, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Large comfy beds. Staff were very friendly, and we had dinner here too which was delicious and well priced. Only thing that let it down were the light curtains giving us an early wake up, a black out blind would be a perfect addition! Well located for Forbidden Corner and Druids Temple. "

"It has a number of facilities and I used a couple; good spa and treatments in a recently built large spa and a cookery course which was well hosted and lead by Ian. The Castle Bar's mixologist is a star. I heard dissent about the lack of dining options on Monday and Tuesday nights but the food was good and breakfast excellent. Room was great with magnificent views. Great parkland and range of facilities"

"This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...
