"Used for 14 guests, rooms and showers very clean, kitchen not the cleanest but was ok, some of the cookware in need of replacement, tho the spacing of the 3 cookers bemused me, (I did over 3 miles in the kitchen alone on the Saturday). The pool table was a bit of a disappointment, cues with no tips and very dirty cloth, maybe worth getting new cloth and then charging for damage, as easy to spot. "Friendly staff including one who formerly and by sheer coincidence worked at the good old boarding school I proudly attended years ago. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with everything including the high standards location and amenities. Cleanliness were very good apart from some surfaces needed a little dusting and one of the bedroom lamps didn’t work though again, overall the standards are extremely high and I’d certainly recommend future guests and I’d certainly return."

"On arrival the cottage was spotlessly clean. Lovely welcome pack with tea and milk in the fridge. Lovely location with great walks in and around, and when we came back to the cottage we could warm up with the fire.Great place for a break and to enjoy the outdoors. Would highly recommend. We had a lovely time."
