"We had appointments in the area. Once those were done, we visited Esquimalt Lagoon for the first time. We spent hours walking the full length (and back) beachside and lagoon side. Lots of interesting sculptures & plants with stunning scenery all around. It was marvelous and so close by. There was a lot more to see, but we had to head home. Til next time."

"We stayed at this property to start off our Vancouver Island trip. It was convenient for us to be about 20 minutes outside the hustle and bustle of Victoria, and 20 minutes closer to Port Renfrew which we visited for the exeptional tidal pools at Botanical Beach. It had a well equipped kitchen, was very clean, and comfortable. It was in a quiet neighborhood a close drive to grocery shopping and hiking down at the beach parks. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of the strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Park mountains from our living room. We would come back here again."

"Was my Moms 85th Bday.... so much to do and see here! I wish our weather was better but being able to look out to the water and nature around us was great. So much space and areas to hang out... we didn’t take advantage as much as we should have. Great for families and being outside."

"Bernadetta's place was exactly what you could see from the pictures. We were 4 adults so the Murphy bed and bedroom bed were more than enough for us. We were there for one night but the supplies which Bernadetta kept could easily last you for a week, very thoughtful of her to also provide us Netflix access. She has amazing collection of games for your entire family. Walmart and Shoppers are just 10min drive and many Indian places to eat around Langford too within 7-10mins. A quite and friendly neighborhood but what USP of her place is the Colwood Beach which is just 7mins walk and a 2-3mins ride from your car. Such an amazing place with killer beach views, we enjoyed a picnic with our family there. Would definitely recommend Bernadetta's place for you and your family."

"A beautiful, tranquille and serene spot. Most times you could hear nothing but the sound of wind in the trees. The hot tub was used a lot! Clear instructions for everything. Very comfy king bed and kitchen was well stocked with basics. We would absolutely return in a heartbeat 💓"

"Our breath was literally taken away each day by the exquisite design, privacy and comforts of this amazing property coupled with the unparalleled, truly stunning views of the beautiful deep blue ocean and the gorgeous snow-capped Olympic Mountain range. Relaxing on the deck was the high point of each day as we were very fortunate to have such beautiful weather. Our visit went by extremely fast and of course we certainly wanted to stay longer! Hosts Loretta and Jeff thought of every detail in designing this property and providing all of the comforts of home. They were always incredibly attentive and so very kind! We very much enjoyed staying at this fresh, extremely clean, brand new property with its sleek modern design and we look forward to returning again! We also enjoyed eating at several great restaurants in the area, going out on many lovely hikes, seeing wildlife, bike riding on the trail as well as visiting Qualicum Beach, Nanaimo, Salt Spring Island and of course, Victoria! Afternoon tea at Butchart Gardens is always amazing as well as the gardens, of course! This is the perfect getaway location for a fun and very relaxing vacation!
