"Staying at The Magnolia is a reminder of what a full service boutique hotel feels like. The level of professional and genuinely caring customer service is shared by all the staff. Each aspect of the guest experience is carefully thought through. We had stayed here some years ago and wanted to return after we both had gone through health issues and were displaced by the Lahaina Maui fire. Thank you Magnolia team for staying true to simplicity, elegance, and exceptional service. Additionally, the rooms are maintained with great attention to detail by the Housekeeping and Engineering Teams. Loved the daily service and the L’occitane toiletries - such a lovely touch. Easy walking distance to local shops and the inner harbor."

"We had like a mini suite booked. Had 2 large windows over looking the water and could see float planes, the little put-put boats, and ferries coming and going. Right on Government Street with shops, resturants, etc right there. Had nice large modernized bathroom. Had 2 leather chairs in front of the fireplace (non-working though). QUIET"

"This hotel was perfect for our family of four and small dog. We were greeted with smiles and excellent service from our valet, Mur, once we pulled in. Once checked in we were surprised with delicious, warm cookies from the pleasant front desk staff. We loved the convenience of having a Starbucks on the lobby floor which we took advantage of every morning during our dog's potty runs as well as having a cold pint at Bartholomew's in the evening. The hotel is in close proximity to all of the touristy spots as well as all of the shopping and restaurants on Government. We also enjoyed the Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! We will definitely be back."

"Great room downtown Victoria, wonderfully comfortable bed, and good amenities with fridge, microwave etc. Didn't feel like we were in a loud downtown. Only comment is that the facility said they had secure overnight bicycle parking. This is not the case, they suggested putting it in their parking lot, or in nearby city parkade, neither of which is considered secure. Other than that, wonderful stay. "
