We loved our 3-night stay and found our room to be very nice, and the location spectacular! We enjoyed our short 10-15 minute walks to the main street, Empress Hotel, Government building and wharf. They even have a lovely roof-top patio with beautiful views of the quaint city.

Couldn’t be more positive about our stay at the parkside, the hotel itself is superb with big clean rooms and fantastic facilities. But the standout had to be the amazing team who were all outstanding and looked after us so well throughout our stay. Friendly, enthusiastic, welcoming and so professional.

The room was spacious and clean and more than expected! I really loved being able to check our bags after getting off the ferry so we could explore until check in time. And the reverse for when we were leaving. My daughter and I appreciated not having to haul our luggage around your beautiful city! Thank you for offering that "extra"! It was a solid stay, rooms are bright and as shown. French doors to bedroom are a bit awkward and don't open right up so are a bit in the way; blinds are awkward with the door handles, clothes drier is very strange and not very efficient. Just little things. They were very accommodating about having a trainer come to the gym and it's nice the gym is open 24/7. Wish the adult-only pool times were a bit longer. Overall, a good stay.

This hotel was wonderful. The staff were warm and welcoming, positive and friendly. Incredibly helpful and willing. Room was spacious and as advertised. Some parts were a bit dated aesthetically but incredibly clean and well maintained. 10/10 would recommend.
