The restaurant and bar were both excellent and offered a good variety of choices. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel was old, but very well upgraded and maintained. We knew there would be no elevators, AC, or microwaves in the rooms, but were pleasantly surprised that the refrigerators were generously large, two fans were already in the room, and the staff were exceptional. It was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was a great place to have dinner and a drink. Just a note, if you have an issue with stairs, not a place for you to stay. No elevator and there are stairs to get into the hotel. Our group had no problems. We had a great stay.
