"Staffs were wonderful , very clean clean kimono every day , food was good water tea and coffee also matcha available all the time . Hot springs , natural hot springs, sauna and steam room available , at any time . Respect the culture no shoes, but locker provided for shoes. Shoes were provided. Loved the place. In case you are wondering like I was, a twin mattress in Japan is bigger than a US twin size but smaller than a full. It would be hard for two people to sleep on it. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. It’s right in the middle of great shopping and restaurants and 2 mins from the Kyoto train station. The Kyoto station has a huge mall in it too. The staff was friendly and always greeted us warmly. "
