Kyoto is quieter than I had pictured, but there are a ton of restaurant and drink options within a few steps of this hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of both Western and Japanese options. I would stay here again."

"I loved the authentic japanese styled backpacker experience of this hotel. I loved that there were so many DIY tea and coffee options and you didnt have to clean it yourself! All the luxury of at home brewing without the chores :D The authentic japanese hot bath experience with separate genders was also great to see at a hotel! Thought we cpuld only have that experience at an onsen but to have it somewhere that was so inexpensive was fantastic. Great experience for such a great value, highly recommend!"
