"Like the cafe/bar in the basement. The 2 buildings across the street from each other makes it a bit inconvenient, for instance, to get to the kitchen from hostel room if they are located in different buildings. Otherwise, clean, nice, comfortable."

"Great access to the Marutamachi subway (literally next door!). The entrance was less upscale than expected, however once entered, have a mostly 4-star feel. We found it a bit on the darker side in both decor and natural lighting. Elevators were very small. However, professional and helpful staff. Room was VERY clean and presented a more traditional Japanese decor references (like a samurai art piece in a display case in our room). Great details! They included good quality complementary...

"Very clean property. Right next to 7-11 store. Closer to Shijo Train Station, Nishiki Market and shopping areas. Overall great location. Staff was very helpful. If you have oversize luggage you can send it to any prefecture in Japan for a reasonable price. The staff will help you send or ship your luggage. It only takes 1 day to get your luggage from Kyoto to Tokyo. Thank you for providing exceptional customer service. "

"This property is in a nice quiet area of Kyoto and is within close proximity of public transit. It is very close and walkable to many shopping anf eating areas! My room was very clean and comfortable. "
