"Fantastic view of the mountain and the city from our bedroom. We were on the 9th floor and we relished the space and the comfortable setting of this room. Very good beds as well. Amenities bar by the reception offering team coffee and all the fixings for the bathroom. Only thing I would like is a toaster oven to cook some toasts and pizza once in a while! Area is very quiet and safe and this was one of our favorite stay in Japan for the two weeks we were there."

"we stayed in the sea room with my wife and son. From what I see it's the one with the least amount of games, yet it was fantastic. we really loved the layout and the decor is perfect for a child. I can say with absolute certainty it was my son favorite hotel during our entire trip in Japan. he was delighted to sleep on a boat bed with Mr. Otopus and climbing up and down the boat chimney. Good basic and clean accommodation, being winter I did find it rather cold this time and could have done with another or thicker duvet but the accommodation itself lacks nothing, well positioned in a nice suburban area of Kyoto close to transport, and it's own shrines and onsens."

"I thought the environment and the staff were very friendly and cozy. It’s a short walk from any convenience store and Nishiki market is about a 15 to 20 minute walk. The onsen is definitely a plus after a long day of walking. "
