"Kefu Stay and Lounge is a compact boutique hotel. As long as you check in before 9 pm the office is attended by two very nice young people who serve a lovely choice of breakfast and lunch at very reasonable prices. All amenities are in the true clean Japanese style with attention to detail. Our room had a hand basin. The individual shower and other individual toilet were next door in the corridor and were lockable. Recommend."

Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. "We LOVED this place. It was very modern and spacious. The bathing space looked brand spanken new, with a beautiful shower / tub and sink. That was separate from the bathroom, which had a wonderful bidet style toilet. The beds were large and comfortable, and there was a huge window that ran the length of the wall for plenty of light and views."

"It’s a great little hotel in a very quiet part of Kyoto. If you wish to get away from all the crowds and just experience how the locals live, this is a hotel for you. We had a room with a private onsen bath, which was just perfect at the end of all the sightseeing. Special thanks to the staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel very comfortable.
