"Upea pieni Luxury/boutiquehotelli, jossa koko asunto samassa! Upea ja fantastinen henkilökunta, apua sai aivan kaikkeen! Pesukoneelle oli käyttöä. Ainoa miinus oli että suuret ikkunat antoivat joelle, jossa satamäärin paikallisia ja turisteja hyppelemässä kivillä, et voi kulkea yöpuvussa verhojen ollessa auki! Upea japanilainen aamupala ja täydellinen design-keittiö japanilaisilla veitsillä ja viinikaapissakin hyvät juomat!"

"Great place. It was even better than we expected!"

"Expensive breakfast and not worth the price- only negative. Hotel is within a cab ride of all attractions or a 20 minute walk. Staff are very friendly and hotel is clean and rooms are beautiful."

"The Front desk and Concierge were amazing and set me up for an amazing Japan Adventure"

"This small hotel is really cute. The rooms are clean, equipped and super nice! The staff was really helpful and polite. They have breakfast and they have 2 light meals during the day which were good and perfect for what they are. Really happy with the property and the experience. I loved the bathtub with view on the interior garden."

"Very cool hotel, great breakfast and the staff is amazing, we had a great time staying there"

"We absolutely loved this hotel! Fantastic location that was out of the busyness of the main districts but in close walking proximity to convenience stores, restaurants, places for coffee and breakfast, and of course the castle and the imperial palace grounds. Great rooms - such a fantastic size for Japan, which was great for our crawling ten month old who wanted to crawl and pull himself up on everything. Staff were lovely and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again."

"This is a great hotel, the staff are awesome, the service was great. The breakfast was very good. I would totally recommend this place."

"Alles war top! Vor allem das ma sich kaffe und matcha Latte umsonst in der Lobby herauslassen kann"

"特に悪いところはありませんでした。"

"Customer service was excellent."

"Luggage store is self serve with thin wire bike locks in the lobby which did seem to fill up. Lobby also had a cigarette smell from the smoking room in the basement. Laundry machines were tiny and did not dry well. Bathrooms are small."

"Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, close to convenience stores and undercover market"

"There were two Japanese well maintained gardens and stone paving hallway outside. They were beautiful and they made us feel very historical culture. The summer season in Kyoto is very uncomfortable to stay outside because of the hight temperature but, in this house, for some reason we could stay comfortably without air conditioner. It was a huge house but all the rooms were cleaned perfectly. Especially we were impressed with the bathroom. The high-tech toilets beautiful wooden bath tub made us...

"What a cool experience to stay in a preserved but beautifully updated traditional machiya! The house was in excellent condition with tasteful details, and the hosts were very generous in supplying refreshments and snacks for us to enjoy during our stay. We had all the amenities we needed, which all worked perfectly for a comfortable and convenient stay. The stairs were narrow and felt a bit precarious, but we mindfully ascended and descended with care and got more accustomed to them by the end...

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel - it was very authentic Japanese style of beds on the floor which we found surprisingly comfortable. The only glitch, which I feel compelled to mention, is the 'smoking' area that is right at the entrance by the main door of the hotel. As soon as you enter the small corridor to walk towards Reception, the smell hits you! Other than that, the hotel was good, rooms were spacious and there were nice amenities supplied. Staff only had limited English, so...
