"Fresh and quite new. Our room had everything that is needed for a self-catering stay. Washer/dryer in room much appreciated, though no iron.Location quite handy to many of the popular Kyoto sights. Very good public transport close by....200m or so. Highly recommended "

"There is no better place to stay in Kyoto. The location is SUPERB. The hotel is the most magical place. If all of that was not enough, Yuriko at the the concierge desk provides the most exceptional level of service I have ever encountered. Stay there just for the concierge services. Cannot say enough good things about this property, the entire staff is fantastic, but without a doubt, Yuriko takes the cake!"

"The hot spring hot tub is the best part of the hotel! Overall hotel is fine- nothing special for the price but for the personal hot spring tub, which was amazing. Food was ok, service was as expected. It’s no where close to downtown Kyoto but so many amazing sights to see around the hotel. If you want quiet - this is the place. "
