"The room is small but utilizes all the spaces and very clean and well kept. It was also quiet, a nice and firm mattress, and the blackout blinds work great so I slept well."

"This is a beautiful resort style hotel in downtown San Diego on the water. East walking distance to many shops and restaurants along the water, and also the Midway and Maritime Museums, which we found fascinating. Watch out for the $45/day "destination charge." We did not sample the hotel's several restaurants, except for the "market" with coffee, pastries, yogurt, etc. There is a beautiful pool area behind the hotel great for swimming and sunning. Probably the finest such haven in San Diego. Close to the airport. Enjoyed seeing the aircraft carriers tied up across the bay and the ship traffic so ask for water views, the higher the better."
