"Clean room. Friendly and courteous staff. Ruby was very helpful in the bar with recommendations of things to do and places to visit. Some of the amenities are a little tired but it’s a historic hotel so no big deal to us. "

"Great hotel, newly updated amenities were appreciated. We tried to check in early and were excited when we were informed there was a room ready, sadly they charged us for early check in. I think if there is a room available it would be nothing to just allow guests in without a fee. Disappointing. That aside, I would recommend this hotel. I haven’t been to Tenderloin area in about 6/7 years, but the homelessness and addictions have become such a problem. Nothing against Hotel Emblem but good to...
