"The room was clean - the staff doing a good job - but is not a kid friendly except the pool ,, there’s no activities for kids ,, except the kids club which is a small room with toys that’s it !! The food was average nothing spectacular - sometimes they close the buffet for no reason and one of restaurants as well,, I don’t know why — also the buffet one day I saw a small cockroach near the food ,, makes me thinking about the cleanliness of the kitchen ,, overall is okay "

"The overall property is nice and the pool area. The rooms are subpar, air was not working when we arrived and they room smelled like sewage or a moldy wet smell. Depending on who serves you the drinks are watered down. For the food the buffet and steak house and Italian place were only good places. Room service food was disgusting."

"The food is not the great, they only have two restaurants and we couldn’t even get a reservation for either of them and we ended up having to find a restaurant out of the hotel to eat. The lunch is the same everyday not a great variety, the drinks are so sweet and slushy. The front desk staff especially their manager is rude, we went to get massages (which were great and the staff was so nice). The same morning we were going to check out and we passed the check out time for 5 min and the manager wanted to charge us $60, after we explained it’s only been 5 mins and we just needed to bring our bags down she went to our room and made sure all of our stuff was out in less than 5 mins, extremely disrespectful. After we had explained we were getting Massages in their resort and consuming, and it was only 5 min. She continued to be rude saying who was going to be reposible for the time she was loosing with the room. Safe to say I’ll never stay here again."

"We moved from the Seadust to this property after 2 days. Loved it here. Staff was amazing, pool service fantastic, clean roos beautiful views! We took scuba lessons and went on 2 dives. Overall 20 out of 10! highly recommend. It was our first time in Cancun but 20th to Mexico!"

"The hotel itself was beautiful, the staff was amazing, and being right on the beach was definitely the highlight of our trip. Everyone at the resort treated us great and the rooms were nice and clean. The biggest downside was the food honestly I’d rate it about a 2/10. Unless the food improves, we probably wouldn’t stay again. What really ruined the experience for us though was Expedia. We are a family of 5, and I originally booked what I thought was ONE suite that fit our family. But because my daughter is 17, Expedia ended up turning it into TWO separate rooms due to their “adult/child” policy. The room itself could fit 7 people, so it made absolutely no sense to us. The worst part is we didn’t realize it until later, and since it was booked through a third party company, the hotel couldn’t refund or fix it. We ended up spending about way way more than we needed to. The hotel and staff were great, but after this experience I probably won’t use Expedia again. Next time I’ll call the hotel directly first because we could have saved a lot of money and frustration."
