"no one at front desk when we arrived.. waited 10 mins, they told us breakfast was between 630-9am( breakfast was a granola bar and banana)…. tub had scum in it… Whole place needs to be redone…. the price was good and was next to one of our attractions to visit… and the view from our room was great!!!!!!"

Not Happy With This Rental Request

"We were unable to stay at the cabin due to heavy rain and possible flooding in the area for that day and the next few days. We live a few hours away and were coming up for a day for my husband to fish and for me to make Vlog videos of the scenery. We are in our 70s and travel for us was dangerous so we turned around and came home. I inquired with the Seller if they would be willing to allow us to change to a few days later, given the cabin was not rented the night before we would come up. We were only staying a day and requesting the change within a few days. It's not like we were trying to rebook f6 months down the road or for a week or more. It was a simple request that we feel could have easily been accommodated. They refused. We had an air-bnb for 5 years and we would have gladly worked out this simple arrangement with a renter. We will be planning the trip again but we will not rent this cabin nor any others this Seller may have. It's a shame because had we liked the cabin, we would have rented it multiple times in the future since we live in the area."

"Spacious - Private - Thought out - Convienent.Enough space to have a bbq and toss a frisbee. Or hang inside with friends and loved ones.All the asks of the landlord were clear and reasonable. Would rent again."

"This place was beautiful and amazing! Once of the best places we've ever stayed. The owner is so dedicated to making you feel at home, and maintains it as is he was staying there. The location is perfect for exploring Shenandoah valley. It is basically right in the middle of everything. We will definitely be coming back!"

"Amazing stay. Great lodging with great views. The hot tub and fire pit were great additions. And the double showers (with high pressure) were another great surprise. The vibe was just amazing. Minutes away from great hiking, fishing, restaurants. Only critique (no fault of the owners) is no Ubers/Lift. We wanted to responsibly enjoy the local winery (only 2 miles away). But it worked out. "

Cozy Little Cabin

"We had a great stay, the cabin is very cozy and cute! There was no shortage of amenities, plenty of towels, blankets, books, games etc. The home is very clean and we loved the hot tub. The location was nice and close to the grocery and downtown Stanley, I just wish I knew that most of the Shenandoah trails are 45-60 min away. That being said, we loved the home and would stay again. "
