"If you are travelling with kids, I do not recommend the hotel. The hallways smell of strong marijuana everywhere, so strong my kids were coughing and had to cover their nose and mouth. Sheets had visible stains. Only one lamp was working. Alarm clock wasn’t set and was blinking. You can hear the cars throughout the night as it is near the busy roads. The only thing I appreciate was the free breakfast. I don’t ever write hotel reviews but I had to this time as a parent."

"Very very disappointed. I went there because of their name, but I couldn’t believe its condition: filthy bathtub, noise refrigerator and broken dusty air conditioner/heater. It was also smelly."

"Found this resort by accident and it was a total God Wink. It was exactly what we were looking for and loved it. Golf course was fantastic! We will be coming back at least twice a year on our trips back and forth from Florida to New York."

"This is the second time we’ve stayed with this host and had equally charming and wonderful experience. The host is extremely kind and responsive. The property photos perfectly depict the idyllic sunset and cozy cabin vibes. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable and the fire place was perfect for a cozy rainy evening in. The listing also accurately described the hilly gravel roads up into the property, our CRV managed just fine. The bugs were out and about while we were on the deck (you’re in the woods, to be expected!) - Picardin based deterrents and a mini fan I happened to bring from home helped keep them at bay. Lastly, the location is extremely convenient - close to the interstate and a quick drive to Harrisonburg and a short drive to Luray and other nearby noteworthy hikes in New Market. We would love to go back. Thank you for a lovely weekend away!"

"This property is nestled by the river, which is such a lovely spot. Donna is such a wonderful innkeeper; she made us feel right at home. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious, and it was made with love. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re searching for a lovely BnB near Shenandoah National Park, this is like home without the chores. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!"

"Cabin was very clean and spacious! Easy access to surrounding towns and parks. Well equipped kitchen! Great sunsets from the large covered porch! Host is always great to work with and very responsive. "

"The property was exactly as advertised and my wife and I enjoyed our 3-night stay. The property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The road that the property is on is a very bumpy and hilly gravel road, which was no problem for us, but if one was to visit during the winter without 4-wheel drive, I could see that being difficult. If we ever find ourselves in the area another time, we would definitely stay here again if the property was available."

"The bed rooms were clean, as were the bathrooms. The hosts were kind and responsive. However, the 1/2 bath smelled like urine. Additionally, it was extremely noisy. The dog barked & you could hear every movement they made upstairs. The beds were also very creaky and it was drafty. "
