"Graves mountain lodges is cozy, down to earth and has plenty to do. An area rich in history and natural beauty with none of the commercialization of typical resorts. We loved our cabin stay at wild wind - a refurbished old school house along the river. Very peaceful and had everything you could need. Great location close to Shenandoah and Rapidan River. There are plenty of activities and we loved the farm animals and the ability to hike around the grounds. The only critique would be that the...

"My husband and children raved about this hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The room was spacious for a family of 5, and staff was welcoming. We asked for a roll away bed and extra towels. After eating at the restaurant, which was also fantastic, we found both requests in our room waiting. I’d definitely come back to this hotel. It updated and the service is excellent."

"First I will say we did not get was pictured which is a pedestal unit but beyond that it was very nice. The place could use a touch of paint but everything worked and worked well. The hot tub was nice and the sauna could’ve been but we were unsure if and how much water we could/should use. So we tried a dry heat one and it was ok. The place was big enough to sleep 8 but I think 4 adults and a couple of kids might feel cramped. Then again we slept and ate there and spent the rest of the time...
