"My husband, myself and children went to spend fathers day weekend and birthday. We had an awesome time, beautiful new cabin, GREAT VIEW, well equipped....the cabin has everything you need. lovely place. We had dinner in Luray Town (15 mins away) in the Chop House Bistro (great food). Used the jacuzzi, fantastic family time."

"We were unable to stay at the cabin due to heavy rain and possible flooding in the area for that day and the next few days. We live a few hours away and were coming up for a day for my husband to fish and for me to make Vlog videos of the scenery. We are in our 70s and travel for us was dangerous so we turned around and came home. I inquired with the Seller if they would be willing to allow us to change to a few days later, given the cabin was not rented the night before we would come up. We were only staying a day and requesting the change within a few days. It's not like we were trying to rebook f6 months down the road or for a week or more. It was a simple request that we feel could have easily been accommodated. They refused. We had an air-bnb for 5 years and we would have gladly worked out this simple arrangement with a renter. We will be planning the trip again but we will not rent this cabin nor any others this Seller may have. It's a shame because had we liked the cabin, we would have rented it multiple times in the future since we live in the area."

"We were booked to stay elsewhere. That property sadly flooded in local storms that swept across the east coast so we were out of a place to stay. Desperately looking for a place to rebook, we came across this property in another state I messaged the owner to see if there was any way we would be able to book at the last minute. It was, and she was kind enough to stay up late to get it all worked out for us to check in the next day. The property /area was very well maintained and clean. Across the lane, the lake was beautiful. It was also a wedding reception area. Luckily there was no wedding that weekend and we were able to spend our day at the lake. Fishing, swinging, reading a book, playing cards and just relaxing. We have had a lot of stress in our lives in the last 6-7 months and just needed to relax. We ended up not even doing any of the local activities. We cooked at home, spent time relaxing, enjoyed the hot tub each night and just enjoyed our attempt to unwind. This was our dog's first vacation and he loved it too. We never met the owners, but we're able to meet their parents. They were sweet enough to stop to say hello while we were at the lake. I would recommend this property if you just want the simplicity of nature and relaxation."

"Amazing stay. Great lodging with great views. The hot tub and fire pit were great additions. And the double showers (with high pressure) were another great surprise. The vibe was just amazing. Minutes away from great hiking, fishing, restaurants. Only critique (no fault of the owners) is no Ubers/Lift. We wanted to responsibly enjoy the local winery (only 2 miles away). But it worked out. The location was nice and close to the grocery and downtown Stanley, I just wish I knew that most of the Shenandoah trails are 45-60 min away. That being said, we loved the home and would stay again.
