"My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway for our Anniversary. We ended up staying 3 nights. The location is beautiful and so peaceful. Cabin was clean, I will say the strong smell of lysol/cleaner was a bit much but eventually faded after a day. At least it was clean! So Ill take it as a win.The bed swing was a wonderful addition. I could have spent every morning and evening just relaxing. We did enjoy the cows across the way. Our view was amazing. The bed was so comfortable. We travel with our own linens and pillows but the mattress was very nice! The shower was another pleasant surprise with double showerheads. The washer and dryer in the cabin was another bonus. Overall fantastic establishment. Instructions were very clear from the start. We look forward to coming back!"

"Despite the clear lack of occupancy prior to our arrival and that we needed to 'set up' Ie. Put our own garbage bags in bins, toilet paper etc. the cottage was exactly as described, with the layout a little peculiar. The kitchen is in the upper apartment with the dining table in the lower apartment there was an issue with cleninless however both the rental manager and owner worded to address these with minimal delay. There is a fire pit outside which in summer is completely shaded by large trees and it was despite the head lovely to sit out there with a breeze making s'mores in the afternoon. Overall our stay was not perfect but has the ability to be. I would recommend for families or dual couples with older children who are comftorable sleeping separated from parents as there is no internal access between apartments and down stairs does not have a fridge. "

"My husband, myself and children went to spend fathers day weekend and birthday. We had an awesome time, beautiful new cabin, GREAT VIEW, well equipped....the cabin has everything you need. lovely place. We had dinner in Luray Town (15 mins away) in the Chop House Bistro (great food). Used the jacuzzi, fantastic family time."

"This was a very comfortable home to stay in. We have a large family and it accommodated all of us. There were plenty of bathrooms, comfy beds, and the kitchen was spacious. All my kids played the arcade games. In addition there is a cute coffee shop across the street.The drive to Luray is very quick. We were also able to drive up to do some hikes in the Shenandoah National Forest several days. I would very much recommended staying here! We had a great time."

"This place was beautiful and amazing! Once of the best places we've ever stayed. The owner is so dedicated to making you feel at home, and maintains it as is he was staying there. The location is perfect for exploring Shenandoah valley. It is basically right in the middle of everything. We will definitely be coming back!"

"We had a great stay, the cabin is very cozy and cute! There was no shortage of amenities, plenty of towels, blankets, books, games etc. The home is very clean and we loved the hot tub. The location was nice and close to the grocery and downtown Stanley, I just wish I knew that most of the Shenandoah trails are 45-60 min away. That being said, we loved the home and would stay again. "
