We had an experence where we asked for one cup of decaf coffee and 30 minutes later; and after flagging down to additional staff personnel we were told the machine was broken -- but, then we received a cup of coffee 5 minutes after that. On another day, I arrived to a buffet that was out of scrambled eggs (the only cooked eggs offered other than hard boiled) - I immediately informed the staff and...

"Hotel Metropole is situated right next to Rossio Square convenient to events, shopping, attractions, tours, transportation and dining. It's just a little antiquated since they must've preserved the building structure. The service, crew and breakfast is excellent but the only thing that bothered us during our two-night stay was the AC that hasn't made the room a bit colder and that we have to open the window to cool down. Thank you. We want to come back!"
