"The location is unbeatable! Black rocks, white waves, and palm trees are right in front of you—we got to enjoy spectacular sunsets from the lanai every evening. The unit is just minutes from Magic Sands Beach and Kahalu’u Beach Park, one of the best snorkeling spots on the Big Island.The condo itself is very clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. The in-unit washer and dryer are convenient. Holly, the host, was friendly and responsive to all our questions.Note: Only the living room has A/C. It does a decent job of cooling the master bedroom, but it doesn’t really reach the second bedroom. That said, it wasn’t an issue for us—the weather was mild and the ceiling fans were very effective. The second bedroom faces a small parking lot and is close to the street. With louvered windows, sound insulation is limited. The noise didn’t bother us, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs.Overall, we really liked the unit and had a great time on the Big Island!"
