Yes, some parts of Bali are overrun with tourists and rubbish. However, we’ve been here for a couple of weeks now and we’ve seen many beach clean ups being organized, plus single-use plastic is restricted, so yay to this Bali!

Whenever I hear people complaining because Bali is too touristy, I would like to remind them that it’s a pretty big island, and visiting ‘Western hotspots’ is not compulsory! You can always find places with not many other people around, and in some cases you don’t even need to travel far. This is Seseh Beach, less than 15 minutes away from Canggu by scooter!

"We stayed here for three weeks, just as the Covid-19 pandemic was taking hold. The staff were outstanding, friendly and very cheery despite knowing that they would be soon without work. They were thoroughly professional, cheery, and outstanding. Can't speak highly enough of Team Wyndham at Dreamland. And we will return next year when this is all behind us. Stay safe."

"One of if not the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are beautiful and so clean set in a stunning jungle backdrop. Staff are the single most friendly helpful people you could ask to come across. There is no way we would go back to Bali without staying there again. I can not praise this hotel and there staff highly enough. "
