Yes, some parts of Bali are overrun with tourists and rubbish. However, we’ve been here for a couple of weeks now and we’ve seen many beach clean ups being organized, plus single-use plastic is restricted, so yay to this Bali!

Whenever I hear people complaining because Bali is too touristy, I would like to remind them that it’s a pretty big island, and visiting ‘Western hotspots’ is not compulsory! You can always find places with not many other people around, and in some cases you don’t even need to travel far. This is Seseh Beach, less than 15 minutes away from Canggu by scooter!

"Tolle Erfahrung in Bali fernab der Touristen und des Trubels von Denpasar, Kuta oder Nusa Dua. "I enjoyed my stay at this property. The gardens and feel down by the river are lovely, the food was very good. The spa is very expensive but our spa/massage ladies were great. I wasn't very impressed with our room. There was an issue with my expedia booking/confirmation stating I will receive a free massage. This didn't come through at their end but they honoured it regardless which we were thankful for. Overall despite enjoying our stay I feel the prices are too high compared to other places...

"This property is beautiful and much larger in size than expected. Beautiful villa. Host was very friendly and communication was effective from him. Will truly recommend this villa. It’s in a perfect spot to come home to from a long day exploring. Lovely cool breeze through the villa. Beautiful private pool to top it off. A hidden gem which will be our villa each time we visit Bali. Daily cleaning from staff who are so friendly. Amenities, wifi included. 10/0. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "
