Yes, some parts of Bali are overrun with tourists and rubbish. However, we’ve been here for a couple of weeks now and we’ve seen many beach clean ups being organized, plus single-use plastic is restricted, so yay to this Bali!

Whenever I hear people complaining because Bali is too touristy, I would like to remind them that it’s a pretty big island, and visiting ‘Western hotspots’ is not compulsory! You can always find places with not many other people around, and in some cases you don’t even need to travel far. This is Seseh Beach, less than 15 minutes away from Canggu by scooter!

"The villa was located in a nice quite laneway just a short walk to the shops. The pool was fantastic and the bedrooms were all a great size. We did get some water leaking through the upstairs bedroom when it rained. But in all had a great stay."

"The photos do not do this amazing villa any justice. It is incredibly spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The location is perfect with just a short walk to Jl Legian. Wina the housekeeper is amazing and cooks the most delicious breakfasts. She even showed us how to cook it. We all wanted to bring her home. She is very helpful and attentive to her guests needs. "I enjoyed my stay at this property. The gardens and feel down by the river are lovely, the food was very good. The spa is very expensive but our spa/massage ladies were great. I wasn't very impressed with our room. There was an issue with my expedia booking/confirmation stating I will receive a free massage.
