"This is such a wonderful gem in the lovely village of Painswick! The room is spacious and welcoming, so comfortable after a day of traveling! The owner is engaging and provides a perfect stay for travelers. Convenient dining options in the village within a 5 minute walk was an extra bonus. I would definitely rebook again, when in the area."

"Food was really gorgeous. We had breakfast, dinner and cream tea there. All excellent. Room was very comfortable but small. Hotel garden lovely. Drinks great. Service was haphazard: often had to go inside to seek or give a food order, or request cutlery once food had come etc, as hard to flag someone down once we’d been seated/served. Some staff were welcoming, some were brusk. Hotel in beautiful town and was a lovely place. Overall, would go again. "

"The view from our terrace room was across the green and rolling hills, with scattered sheep and a few stone farm house. Very pleasant. The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature in the room just right. The breakfast Jeanina cooked was excellent. The B&B host went out of his way to get us to and from a working bus stop since the road was closed and buses not going through the village. So super helpful. "
