"We had a fantastic time at Stratton House. The location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and there are lots of things to see and do around Cirencester. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely traditional English feel. There was plenty of parking and the hotel bar was terrific. Jack, one of the barmen, was very attentive and friendly and really couldn’t have done a better job. The bar menu was great and we particularly enjoyed the local gin and beer options. We ate some beautiful meals there also - the leek and potato soup was the best I’ve ever eaten! "

"From start to finish our 2 night break was excellent. From the warm welcome when checking in to us checking out the staff made us want for nothing. The room we stayed in was clean and was cleaned with everyting restocked. It had all the appliances you would expect, kettle for provided tea and coffee, ironing board and kettle including a safe and T.V. Although in the adjoining country house, we never felt that we was not part of the main hotel building. There was also an outdoor bar which was open when we had pizzas on the Friday of our stay which were freshly cooked in the outdoor pizza oven. The Sunday dinner was of high quality and again, the staff during meal times were thorough and efficent. The hotel is situated just off the common which gives access to plenty of walks. Overall I would recommend the hotel to anyone as it caters for all. "
