"Fantastic boutique hotel that is about a 3-min walk from Grand Central. Midtown hotels I've stayed in recently have all felt really overpriced and dingy - this was a notable EXCEPTION to that rule. The room was clean, modern, and spacious (the bathroom was a bit small, but that worked fine for me). The staff was friendly, and if you are looking to stay in Midtown, the location is unbeatable. The lobby is bright and beautiful, and though it lacks some of the amenities of larger chain hotels (e.g....

"The staff was amazing and treated my family with such care. They even sent a special treat up to the room for my daughter’s 8th birthday (we did not ask for anything. They just saw at check in that it was her birthday and did it on their own. They even gave her a hand written card). Beautiful view, spacious room, top notch amenities. "

"Pod39 is perfectly located for business trips as it is right across the street from my office. The young staff are energetic and helpful and in the case of this trip - went out of their way to get me a room for early check in. Rooms are as the describe - pods- spartan, small and well designed for the minimum needs of sleep and shower. I always have a great stay here and this was no exception. Viva la Pod39! "

The only thing I would suggest is to illuminate things a little better; I had a very difficult time reading the numbers in the elevator, and finding my room once I reached my floor because of how dark it is. Beside that, I enjoyed my stay, and would definitely stay at this hotel again."
