"Can't beat the location. Rooms are no frills and a bit dated, but if you came to Hawaii to sit in a hotel room, there are other options north of the airport costing three times what we paid. The hotel is on the southern end of Kailua-Kona and a short walk to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. The staff is outstanding, rooms cleaned every day and any requests we had were addressed quickly. We'll be back."

"After running and rushing around our vacation, this place was a happy oasis. It was the first time I didn’t want to leave a resort. I saw a turtle while snorkeling, my husband had a pickleball coach, and fed a lovebird and geese from my patio. The grounds and beach are beautiful, and the staff is exceptional."

"This has to be one of the most beautiful properties on the island! The lobby is stunning, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the grounds are beautiful! It is great for families with children, but equally as great for adults without kids. There are many activities that you can do. It is very upscale; but still relaxed and has a lot of island feel to it. If you are active, this is a great place as there are countless water activities already included in the resort fee, and many walkable trails to explore the coast. 12/10."
