"Rented this specifically since it was outside of resort areas. Not far from Kailua-Kona, though - only a 15-min drive. Daughter and I went to go hiking and experience nature, and this location was perfect for that! (We could even birdwatch from the lanai!) Found the house and the room clean and well-maintained. "We absolutely loved our stay at Mauna Lani! We came to Hawaii to celebrate baby moon and the hotel made sure I was comfortable by providing a pregnancy pillow & gifted a cute gift box for baby and I. The resort is absolutely breathtaking, especially the main inside interior and garden area. Staff was very friendly, everything looked new and well maintained. We loved coming back to our clean room and to the hotel overall. Everything was as I liked, the aesthetics, the cleanliness, nature, the beach area, etc. Super sad to leave but will definitely come back!!! "
