"It was a nice hotel but the older wing where we stayed is showing wear and needs updating. That made that part look shabby. The lobby also needs updates. Carpets look dirty. The newer wing looks nice, door area clean, Adirondack chairs a very nice touch."

"Excellent staff, was met by Natalie and she represents the hotel very well. The hotel is excellent, clean, linens are new and comfortable, mattresses are just right for a good night sleep, and the breakfast deserves another 5 stars. Good management and leadership provided by Mr Patel!"

"Awesome hotel for families with young kids. Great location with playground nearby for morning/evening park time. Walking distance to downtown for retail shopping and local eateries. Eight minute drive to the boardwalk, close enough but still far enough from the crowds/congested traffic. Hotel staff and amenities were fantastic. Hot tub and pool was our highlight! Very comfortable temps for the entire family. Poolside service was great. Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Hotel staff was very accommodating to requests. Hotel provided free bottled water the entire duration of our stay and even offer s’mores kit for the kids to enjoy in the evening. Overall, one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever experience. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend to all looking for a hotel with amazing hospitality and care."

"The location was very conveniently located, however the property was a bit dirty feeling. The hallways smelled musty/ mildewed and were a bit dark. My room smelled clean, but the carpet was covered with what looked like dog hair. The soap and shampoo smelled great and were convenient in the kind of bottles that are refillable, which I appreciate. Linens and pillows were very good. Another area that was a bit disappointing was the pool. There was only one towel which my friend and I had to share. There was garbage (which says more about the other guests than the hotel tbh) Overall, I’d probably stay again, however it was not as nice as I had expected given the price."

"Beautiful and peaceful stay! We loved being surrounded by the redwoods with the river flowing right nearby. Getting soaked in the river was such a fun and refreshing experience. The cabin was excellent, comfortable, cozy, and perfect for a family getaway. We stayed in Cabin 11A, which was right behind the river and just an easy walk away. We had a wonderful time with our family and truly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Definitely a memorable stay!"

"The property was fine but nothing special. Kind of pricey for 3 couples. Spacious living areas but not particularly warm and inviting. The third bathroom is off the kitchen…not near the bedrooms. Therefore 2 of the smaller bedrooms share one small bathroom. Only one hand towel, shower towel and washcloth per/person for 3 nights. No beach towels or extra amenities. The kitchen was ok but no extra spices or cooking oils etc…The back deck/porch was big but the furniture could use sprucing up as the cushions were worn and dirty. On the plus side we were given early entrance which was nice and made our travel to the area easier. The hot tub was clean and hot!"

"This was a great find! A very relaxed neighborhood with easy walking to the Main Street, coffee shops & Henry Cowell state park! The pool was great and the house well stocked with lots of essentials. The beds are very comfortable & overall the house was spotless.Capitola is about a 25 min drive with most restaurants being dog friendly and Santa Cruz 15 min drive. Scott's alley is also close by for any bigger stores or chain coffee shops etc. I would highly recommend this VRBO!"
Light-Filled Redwood Cottage with Clawfoot Tub

"This place was incredbile - we wanted to move in! Light filled and spacious with a HUGE tub and a super comfy bed. The hosts thought of everything. There was a towel warmer, extra blankets and they even put bottles of shampoo, conditioner, ect out and provided any kind of cutlery we could ask for. We felt like we were staying in a little peaceful oasis. The hosts were gret to communicate with and the spot was SUPER peaceful - little rabbits all over the place. HIGHLY reccommend!"
