"My fourth stay here and I have just re booked. There is a shared bathroom but this is reflected in the room price, locally you can expect to pay at least double if not triple the rate offered here. Always comfortable bed a fresh clean sheets & Duvets. Friendly, professional staff and you get 10% discount on food & drink in the bar. Massive car park on site. See you soon!"

"Hotel was clean and well managed. Room was a generous size and very clean. Only negative was the shower screen had presumably previously been broken and so was missing, which meant a shower sprayed water all over the floor. I reported it on check-out and was assured it would be addressed. "

"Great location near the Cathedral and plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Reasonably straightforward to check in, although the lighting at the entrance and in the stairwell could be improved - I needed to use my phone torch. The room was great and had a lot of character with a modern bathroom. One minor suggestion - they should change their brand of shampoo. My hair has never felt so gross and greasy after washing and drying! But it was a convenient and comfortable stay. "

"Browns was an excellent hotel - only stayed for one night but wish we were there for longer. Will definitely go back. We were upgraded to an apartment which was great to have the extra space with a Juliette balcony overlooking the river. Food was excellent had lunch and breakfast was included and couldn’t fault it. Apartment had a fully working kitchen with fresh milk in the fridge which was a nice touch. No car park but the pay and display was very close by so very easy and it cost about £11 for 24 hours which I didn’t feel was bad. Staff were great and accommodating and efficient- can’t wait to come back for longer next time. "
