The hotel is situated just a couple of minutes away from the Cathedral and the Commandery so is perfectly placed for a visit to Worcester. The hotel is also on a road with some beautiful historical buildings. The staff were great throughout, and the breakfast was very nice. The only negative I had was the temperature of my room, which was extremely hot! The combination of it being ridiculously hot outside, and old building and I think my room was above the kitchen meant that the room was unbearably hot. They provided 2 fans, but even they weren't enough to cool the room down!

A quick stay - so can't give 5* to something I didn't experience properly - nice clean room in a quirky but clean hotel - bedding was fabulous. Only met 2 staff - in and out - totally fine.

We stayed 2 nights in room 8, it was OK, if a bit tired. It was clean and had all we needed. Stairs down into the ensuite bathroom were a bit of a challenge in the night. Shower over the bath was a step over in and out - a handrail might be helpful. Staff were friendly. We didn't eat here, we did use the bar. Location is good - nice bars and restaurants close by. No parking on site. Overall it was OK for the price.

A pleasantly quirky place, and the staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. Rooms were fresh and spotlessly clean. No noise from inside the hotel, and little from outside. Bar was good value. The cooked breakfast wasn't great, and I didn't feel particularly good value, but the continental breakfast was very good value and very tasty and fresh. Would happily stay again!

Organised a surprise birthday party in the Abbott room-staff were excellent from start to finish. Good prices, food and service. Stayed two nights in a spacious room which was quiet at night considering the room overlooked Friar St. Had a wonderful weekend and will be back.

Very convenient if travelling without a car. It's an old building but Greene King have made the best of it, with individual touches you don't often find with chains. The breakfasts are excellent and the staff very helpful. We had quite a large room with a half-tester bed for a very reasonable price including breakfast. If the weather is cool the double glazing keeps out most of the street noise, but even with June outside temperatures around 16C the room was notably warm. I wouldn't stay if a heatwave is forecast. I expect it's cosy in winter.

Lovely staff, very nice and helpful. Nice central location, easily walkable to dining, shopping, and sights. Room was dated, nothing like pictures on website, but nonetheless it was clean and cleaning service was provided daily. A bit pricey but overall a good experience.
