"The Shepherds hut was on a farm in a lovely position in a field with no one overlooking but the local livestock.It was nice to have the option of sitting outside and eating. Inside had a 2 ring gas stove which was nice to make a cup of tea and all the cutlery plates etc required.A wood burner for the cold nights too. It was nice to have a toilet inside and the shower and main toilet a short walk away . It was ideal! No frills,worn and clean which the really reasonable price represents in this area. The delicious farmhouse breakfast as an extra option was a perfect way to start the day!"

"We really enjoyed our stay and found the house perfect for us (2 families, 7 people in total) to celebrate the new year.Well equipped and rooms all clean. Excellent communication with the owner and really appreciated the early check in and late check out.Lovely location "

Relax in cosy converted pigsty with stunning views

The most charming house, gardens, property and host!!

"We could not have asked for a better house in the middle of what I think of as a kind of Eden! If you like nature, beauty and tranquility, this is the place for you. There is a unique feeling about this property, it's just a wonderful piece of land in the midst of true natural splendor. And the garden and views are just incredible. I've never stayed at a more beautiful place using VRBO. This is the second time we have been here and we could not have had a better stay and we could not have had a better host than Marian. She's simply wonderful and goes out of her way to help with whatever one would need or want. I highly recommend the Pigsty for anyone wanting to stay someplace very special and unforgettable! "
