"This place was the worst we have ever stayed. They probably never wash bed sheets and pillow covers. You will literally smell the last visitor's smell of head from your pillow. The bed was too small, if you are taller than 170cm, you will see your leg is hanging out of the bed. Solution we found was sleeping diagonal direction and wrap up the pillow with out cloth. Shower was nearly impossible as their water pressure was almost non existent. The ad said free wifi but the wifi password was never...

"Cute little homestay. The dog sounds like it is the biggest meanest dog ever... he is not. He is small, cute and really wants to be chased around the house. The rooms are perfect, AC, Bathrooms are nice with hot showers and a fridge. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Location is great, the town is super noisy and busy, this place is about 200 meters from the busy busy road. 5 minute walk to the beach. Definitely recommended."

"Opinion of an American expat male. 1. Service: Staff very helpful in helping a new tourist get around Sri Lanka. Breakfast was hearty. If you're unfamiliar with Sri Lanka, do yourself a favor and book the hostel's airport shuttle service. 2. Room was spacious, clean, with working AC, 24-hour wifi, bottled water provided. "This is the best hotel in Trincomalee. The staff are the loveliest, kindest staff, and they made our time there feel like home. The food is a choice of traditional Sri Lankan food as well as European/US, but they even made us egg hoppers on request.... Its that we're not on the menu. So I cannot praise them highly enough. We will return here. "
