"A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated."

"The cocoon-shaped tents are really unique and beautiful. They’re well-designed and blend nicely with the natural surroundings. Inside, you have everything you need – a big bed, air-conditioning, a beautiful bathtub, and stylish furniture. "Spent 2 amazing nights here for safari tours situated right outside the national park. The hotel staff and location is amazing. The cabanas are beautiful and air conditioned. We even had elephants in the lagoon outside our room one night. "Absolutely beautiful property. Right on the beach with easy access. Hanuman langur monkeys were right outside the room. They were so cute! Room had poor lighting, but everything else was perfect! Hotel next door has a superb buffet- best i have ever eaten in terms of variety! Access road was bad and there was no place for our driver to stay so he had to find his own lodging."

"A beautiful setting directly on Tissa lake. The lobby opens out straight onto the garden and pool. Our room had opening sliding doors allowing an unhindered views of the lake. Hundreds of birds coming and going and there is an amazing twilight sight as the fruit bats leave the island for the night. Nice local area and an easy walk along the lakeside into town for the night. Food and service was great."
