"We are locals who stayed for a staycation for my birthday. Everything about Charleston Place is five star but the thing that sets this hotel apart is the service. Charleston is a friendly and polite city and everyone we encountered at the hotel was very professional but also warm and friendly. True Charleston hospitality. The restaurant is superb and the spa is great."

"Super clean and nice. Negative is no door staff so the hotel is closed to the public at 11pm. If you come in after that time you have to call a number to be let in. The breakfast is brought to each floor daily which is nice, but both mornings the pastries were extremely stale and in edible. "
