The Charleston Place

5.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (1010)
"The hotel is beautiful, and we will definitely return. We will come back at a quieter time of year. Unfortunately, we went at Christmas, and it was very crowded with people and dogs. We loved seeing the dogs and appreciate that this is a very dog-friendly hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional."

Hyatt House Charleston/Historic District

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1003)
"The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was very nice every morning and the staff was always refilling things. There are a ton of restaurants right across the street and all had great food. There are a few free buses right across the street/in the are that can take you closer to other areas, so that was great. The pool was nice but does need a bit more upkeep, but we still used it. Overall very nice stay here."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Historic District

3.5 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (1016)
"This is a very comfortable place if you want a two room suite so one person can get up earlier than the other. The breakfast service is very convenient and the omelette cook makes wonderful omelettes. For the first few days, they close the outdoor patio because of construction in the driveway. It’s nice to be able to eat outside. The pool and the area around the pool are pleasant. "
