We have been wanting to stay at the planters inn for years. It’s a great location and a wonderful inn. We stayed in the Governors suite which was very lovely. It was very quiet and cozy and we are looking forward to returning.
This was our second time staying here and every staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are always very clean and we always enjoy the breakfast there.
The room and hotel is beautiful and perfect location. Factor in $50 a night for parking when evaluating price point. Was frustrated that lukewarm coffee and tea water was served every day in lobby (mentioned it 6 times to the main desk) but it was never addressed.
The room was wonderfully decorated and large. The staff were courteous and helpful. The location was Ideal and the restaurant food was excellent.

The hotel itself, as well as our guest room, was spotless! This was a prime location...super convenient to the City Market and for shopping on King Street. The restaurant, Peninsula Grill, was amazing!
