"The views from this place are amazing! The location is excellent. You can walk to a variety of restaurants and also do some shopping. The food at Dons Mai Ta was ok. The bed was comfortable. The only negative thing that should be said is that the room and hall way have an old dirty carpet smell. We left our bedroom sliding door open the whole time we were there so it helped BUT the smell was disappointing. The building seems old and the outside walls are cracking and falling apart. They are renovating one of the buildings, hopefully they don’t put carpets in :) "

"We had a great time celebrating our 40th anniversary with our children and grandchildren. We had a group of twelve. The house had great views, plenty of bedrooms, a fun pool and spa and even beach chairs and toys the kids enjoyed. The neighborhood was quiet and easy parking in driveway and street. The location was awesome as we enjoyed activities nearby as well as driving north, south, to Hilo and Volcano’s National Park. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and breeze on the lanai were great. It was very nice having plenty of bathroom and beach towels and shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathroom. There were plenty of garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper and dishwasher soap. "

"Fantastic stay! Would stay again. Absolutely loved the venue. The one thing I wish would’ve been different, is the quality of the air conditioner. While there is an AC unit in every room, it still was fairly hot. Manageable but not as cool as we would’ve liked. Other than that super happy with our stay! We had a fantastic time. "

"The property was as described. Had a blast with our family of nine. The picture windows provided a phenomenal view, kitchens were well stocked with everything we needed. Pool was a lot deeper than expected. It had a quick drop off for our 6 and 7yr old. But with a life jacket they were fine. The only thing i would change, was the landscaping crew showed up on the second day with no warning triming trees and bushes, they were kind, but it felt like an invasion of privacy. They only came that one day and we didnt see them again. That was also our scheduled stay at the house day. So while jumpi g in the pool, adults in the hot tub masked men start triming. We just took breakfast inside until they left. "
