"Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs."

"Courteous staff. Good selection of food at breakfast but I was told that I could not have a cappuccino at breakfast time! As I only eat a croissant with a cappuccino for breakfast, I had to cross the road to a coffee shop. Parking facility was good. For dinner, I opted for the plaice, only to find that the size of the portion was about right for a five years old. The quiet ambience in the dining room was appreciated. Overall, I think that eating out elsewhere would have been preferable"

"We loved our stay here. They are in the middle of renovations and we paid for a cheaper room that hadn't been renovated fully yet. We were a little worried it would be grotty or quite dated since the pictures on the website for those rooms weren't great, but the rooms were actually pretty nice. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are amazing with breathtaking views. The restaurant is great. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
