"It is on the quiet North Beach but surprisingly close to South Beach and Peasholm Park. There are bakeries and food shops nearby. I enjoyed the sea/castle view from my window, cooked breakfast which was nicely served and overall convenience. Noise-wise, a lot depends on other guests staying."

"It is an excellent location, beautiful sea view rooms overlooking south bay, close to local amenities, there is a lift to take you down to the seafront and back again, only cost £2.50, I recommend it for the view. Rooms are serviced every day, great friendly staff, great restaurant and it’s dog friendly too, don’t take my word for it! Just go and enjoy 😊 "

"We had a lovely stay at the Crescent hotel. It's a traditional seaside hotel, a lovely big building in a brilliant location. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. Friendly helpful staff and a lovely outside bar where we enjoyed a night cap after returning from the open air theatre. The music was a little loud in the outside bar, could maybe be a little bit quieter for conversation but not a big issue. "

"Great pub in a quaint village within Scarborough near to all North Bay attractions. The rooms are all different, fitted out and decorated to a high quality standard. The pub area has a great atmosphere along with the dining areas. Food is of a very high quality and great portion sizes"

Good spacious room with a lovely comfy bed, kettle with tea/coffee etc. hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom. Nice hot shower. We would certainly recommend & will return for another stay. "

"I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...
