"Very tired , everywhere , paint peeling from walls and windows, cracked bathroom sink . Suitcase scuffs on stair walls. Only toast ( soggy ) available for those not choosing a full English breakfast. Bar area only suitable for tall people , very raised seats. Parking very difficult , didn’t dare move car once parking found. No extra toiletries in bathroom . Permanent stain on bathroom floor behind toilet . This building could be magnificent with some TLC."

This was primarily because the moment we arrived at the place we discovered the pets weren’t allowed anywhere beyond the ground floor and, if they were “well behaved” into the kitchen area. "Wow, what an amazing place to stay in Whitby. Foxton Penthouse was central for us to have coastal walks and to walk into town. The apartment was very modern and had everything we needed to make our stay go well. Once in town you can cross the bridge and walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey. Or get the hop on hop off bus.
