"We enjoyed our stay here in a large room with modern bathroom. All staff were very welcoming and friendly, felt homely. The breakfast was delicious. The view of the lake at the front of the hotel was stunning - we enjoyed being able to sit and watch the sunsets. Our only negative point was the poor wifi if you need it (which we did to remotely work so this was a struggle). Otherwise we would happily return."

"Traditional and slightly dated hotel. The accommodation was more than adequate and the food and service excellent. Its proximity to Keswick town centre is a bonus, especially as parking is free. After checkout we were told we could leave our car on the premises for the rest of the day if we so wished. "
"If you stay here, just know that it’s an older space, but it’s also beautiful. They have a great area to gather and games to play. The property has a proper garden area with lots of places to sit. We would absolutely go back."
"This is a delightful property with a lovely host.
It isn’t anything flash but if you’re looking for quaint and original then this is perfect. It is an older house so has the creaky floor boards and matching decor.
Bathroom is clean and newer. Slices were provided on arrival and a beautiful English breakfast included the next morning.
Was able to go for walk down to the nearby lake and take in the surrounding beauty. Would be a great place to base yourself for exploring the lakes district further."

"Spa cottage was brilliant, it was clean, had everything you needed, very well furnished and its in a great location opposite the lovely village shop and right by the pub. Good walks nearby and everyone very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Braithwaite is such a lovely village."
"Stayed for 4 nights in this gorgeous cottage. Traditional looking but with modern facilities. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge. The village is quiet & peaceful just outside of Keswick. The real bonus is the private garden with comfy sofas. Parking is tight but we did have a wide car & it was nice to have it on the driveway. Good communication and able to self check in. "

"We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful property in the Lake District. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect: peaceful and secluded, but only a short drive (or a long, scenic walk!) to some amazing views, great pubs, and some fantastic hiking trails. We loved being able to set off on foot and find hidden tarns and breathtaking views without even needing the car.Inside, everything was spotlessly clean and incredibly well-equipped . The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in, and waking up to the mist rolling over the hills was pure magic.Our host was fantastic — friendly, quick to communicate.If you're looking for a peaceful, charming base to explore the Lake District, you honestly couldn't do better. We didn’t want to leave — and we're already planning our next visit!"
