"The house is very homely and has beautiful views and gardens. The room was very clean and cosy. Me and my boyfriend climbed scafel pike and it was only around a 30 minute drive to here which was perfect for us. Would stay again!"

No matter though, I’m there to sleep and shower and that’s about it! "Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about. Stayed here to go to scafell pike which was around 25 minutes drive away. Also a beach around 10 minutes drive away. Hotel has a large car park, great outdoor space to sit as well. Only down side was we went to pool room and it was locked, got the staff to open it and got change for the table from the bar. Just as we were going to start playing noticed one cue was broken in half and the other the tip was missing. Dart board not in the best condition....

"Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack. The room was big enougb fornthe 2 of us and had a good sized ensuite shower room. The rooms facilities were excellent. Smart tv, wifif and smart heating as well as a kettle...

"A second comfortable stay here with friendly owners/staff. They don't serve food but were happy to refer me to a competitor across the street, where the food was great. Situated in the centre of a small village with narrow streets so parking is just around the corner. The car park provided gratis by the village but donations for upkeep are welcome."
